Tell us a little about yourself.
I’m half English, half French and was born and raised between London, Ibiza and Madrid and I’m now currently living in Paris. In January 2018, I quit my job and my Paris life to go travelling full time around Australia and Asia on my own for over five months. It was an incredible experience and I will cherish it forever. I got to see so many beautiful destinations and I met some wonderful, kind people on the way so I never really felt alone. Each destination was incredible, and I didn’t encounter any problems whilst travelling which is why there's not a single thing that I would change.
I’ve always loved travelling which is why I started my travel blog two years ago to inspire and encourage people to travel as much as possible because life is too short, and the world is too big! I also wanted to have a place to share all my travel tips and recommendations for people to use on their future trips.
You've travelled to many amazing places. Where was your favourite place and why?
This is always one of the hardest questions to answer because for me, every destination I’ve visited has been magical and has had some wonderful places to visit. I just love the diversity of landscapes, architectures, languages, cultures and food when travelling to different countries. There are some destinations like the South of France, Ibiza and Mallorca which I go to every summer because I know them well and because they’re simply stunning. Then there are other places far from Europe such as Indonesia, Mexico, Australia and the Philippines that have left me with some lovely memories and where I hope to go back to one day soon.
With travelling so much you must have picked up on some travelling and packing tips. What would you suggest?
With all my travelling, I’m still someone who always say I’ll pack light on a new trip and end up lugging around a heavy suitcase with me… Packing light is not one of my strongest attributes unfortunately. One thing I’ve started doing recently is rolling my clothes to pack them in my suitcase and I find it's a great way to gain space and not crease your clothes. I also tend to travel with miniatures of all my beauty products.
What is one thing you can't travel without?
My camera! I’m so used to taking it everywhere I go that I feel empty without it. I love taking photos and it’s never the same when I use my phone, so I definitely can’t travel without my camera.
Are you planning another trip soon. If so, where are you heading?
I’ve always been a last minute planner so new escapes pop up all the time when I least expect them. Since I got back from my big trip in Australia and Asia in May, I have been enjoying my summer in Europe whilst being based in Paris. I recently escaped to Sicily and Ibiza and my next trip is going to be a hike in the Spanish Pyrenees for a few days.
